firstAId Video Pitch

In 2023, I produced a video pitch for a hypothetical product called ‘firstAId’. This product was developed as part of a university class which required students to work in groups to develop a solution for a specific complex problem. All of the video’s audio and visual components were either edited or created by myself, apart from the script, which was written with my fellow teammates.

The video can be viewed here.

Inspections of a Sound

In 2022, I produced the pilot episode of a podcast for a final-year Media subject. The podcast, titled ‘Inspections of a Sound’, was intended to be a music analysis program that examined the common auditory elements (e.g. instrumentation, production) that are heard within a particular genre of music. The first episode explores the musical style known as “bedroom pop”, and features interviews with several Australian musicians. In 2023, this piece was selected to be featured in Salience, an online publication that showcases works produced by students from the University of Sydney’s School of Art, Communication and English.

The pilot episode can be heard here.

Immanent Justice

In 2021, I designed and edited sound for the audio drama ‘Immanent Justice’, written by Danial Yazdani. This piece was produced for Sydney University Dramatic Society’s (SUDS) radio play initiative in the midst of the COVID pandemic, with the actors self-recording their lines on their phones.

The piece can be heard here.

A History of Mashups

In 2020, I produced a short-form podcast for an Audio Production class I took at university. This piece examined the history of musical mashups, and provided an overview of how the various techniques that are incorporated into this style (e.g. ‘borrowing’ musical material, splicing seperate audio pieces together) have developed over time.

The piece can be heard here.
